Robin

Robin is a laced composite ensemble built entirely from linked and interlaced fabrics. Each fabric has its own pattern, density, drape, and transparency, creating dimension while allowing glimpses of the body through the open architecture.

The cape wraps softly around the shoulders and can also be worn as a hood, changing the silhouette and character of the piece. Fringe marks the natural edges of the fabrics, celebrating rather than hiding how they come off the machine. There is no cutting and sewing of multiple pattern pieces—the form comes from the textile itself and the way the layers are laced together.
